Ride The Horse!

11 Then I saw heaven opened, and there was a white horse! Its rider is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a fiery flame, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knows except Himself. 13 He wore a robe stained with blood, and His name is called the Word of God. 14 The armies that were in heaven followed Him on white horses, wearing pure white linen. 15 From His mouth came a sharp sword, so that with it He might strike the nations. He will shepherd them with an iron scepter. He will also trample the winepress of the fierce anger of God, the Almighty. 16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS – Revelation 19:11-16

Anyone who has surrendered to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord truly reads this passage with hope, expectation, and longing! How wonderful it will be to be sitting on that white horse with our Savior at the head charging forth to victory over evil! He is truly magnificent! He is awesome and wonderful! The time is coming quickly, and (for all those ‘nay-sayers’ out there:) IT WILL COME! It will actually happen! Life as we know it will change drastically. The separation between ‘life on earth’ and ‘life after death’ will be blurred for all those that are truly saved! The lost will spend eternity in the lake of fire continually and forever being tormented for their rejection of Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. But WE will be in His Presence, and will reign with Him in real time and space over people, places and things!

One of the most awesome thoughts I have, as I sit and contemplate these things, is that I will be there. I am aware of my many faults. I am cognizant of my failures. I know how weak and ineffectual I am. I am a sinner saved by grace, and only held and kept through His power and His grace! This passage comforts me to no end, knowing that I WILL BE THERE! GOD has PROMISED that I will ride the horse! Praise His Name!
