Our Salvation is Nearer!
11 Besides this, knowing the time, it is already the hour for you to wake up from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12The night is nearly over, and the daylight is near, so let us discard the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:11-12
God is telling us to “wake up” and “get ready to fight” because HE is COMING VERY SOON! I love this passage of scripture! It is so encouraging in this world of pain, sorrow, frustration, dispair, agony, worry, uncertainty, illness, etc. to know that even though we must brush off our battle armor and prepare for war, HE IS COMING SOON! And even sooner than when we first believed!
It is almost over, folks! Soon the entire world will be very different! Our lives will be entirely changed! We are living in the end-times, my friends, and it is exciting! I trust you are all ready for the battle, because it is coming – like it or not! Praise the LORD!!!!
